Negative Correlation between Serum NLRP3 and the Ratio of Treg/Th17 in Patients with Obstructive Coronary Artery Disease

چکیده
Background: Regulatory T (Treg) cells are a class of anti-inflammatory lymphocyte subpopulations with potential protective effect against atherosclerosis, whereas helper 17 (Th17) have been reported to possess proatherogenic activity. It was believed that disturbed circulating Treg/Th17 balance associated the onset and progression atherosclerosis. This study is designed probe regulative action serum Nod-like receptor protein 3 (NLRP3) on in patients Methods: Fifty-two coronary atherosclerosis stenosis degrees more than 50% were assigned artery disease (CAD) group, an equal number people without control group (assessed by angiography). Peripheral blood mononuclear (PBMCs) from two extracted cultivated. The calculation ratio quantitative analysis Treg Th17 cell frequencies performed through flow cytometry. Real-time fluorescence polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) executed for mRNA detection fork head-winged helix transcription factor (Foxp3) retinoic acid-related orphan nuclear C (RORC) PBMCs. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays applied measure level NLRP3, interleukin (IL)-10, IL-1β, IL-17A, IL-23, transforming growth (TGF)-β1. Additionally, connection between NLRP3 levels analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: baseline parameters, including sex, age, or biochemical indices had no difference both groups (p > 0.05). CAD showed higher frequency, lower when compared < Consistent variation T-cell subset ratio, Th17-cell-related RORC markedly 0.05), conversely, expression cell-related Foxp3 notably reduced Similarly, IL-1, IL-23 significantly enhanced but IL-10 TGF-β1 negative found (r = –0.69, p 0.001). Conclusions: Due impact may act as aggravator atherosclerotic disease.

Introduction: Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) is considered as an independent predictor of long-term prognosis in the individual patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). This study sought to assess the relationship between NLR and CAD severity in Iranian patients undergoing cardiac catheterization.Material and Methods: This prospective study was conducted on 500 patients with acute cor...
متن کاملSerum ferritin and obstructive coronary artery disease: angiographic correlation.
OBJECTIVE To verify the possible association between the levels of serum ferritin and the degree of obstructive coronary artery disease. METHODS 115 patients with coronary arteriography and concomitant evaluation of serum ferritin were studied. The adopted cut-off values were 80 ng/ml for women and 120 ng/ml for men. RESULTS The mean ferritin levels for males and females were 133.9 +/- 133....
